We recently completed a comprehensive Stage 2 tuning process on a BMW M4 CS, transforming an already impressive vehicle into a powerhouse of performance and precision. The process began with a thorough assessment of the vehicle’s current performance metrics. This initial baseline allowed us to accurately measure the existing power, torque, and engine behaviour. With the baseline data in hand, we moved on to the ECU remapping, where we used advanced tools like the Alientech Kess3 to recalibrate the engine’s software.
This involved optimising the fuel delivery, ignition timing, and boost pressure to unleash more power from the turbocharged inline-six engine. The Stage 2 tune also required the integration of several key hardware upgrades, including a high-flow exhaust system and an upgraded intercooler, both of which were essential for handling the increased power output.
After completing the ECU remapping and hardware installations, we performed multiple test runs to ensure that the vehicle’s performance was maximised. The results were outstanding: the BMW M4 CS saw a significant increase in horsepower and torque, with sharper throttle response and quicker acceleration. The enhanced exhaust system not only improved
performance but also delivered a more aggressive and exhilarating exhaust note, perfectly complementing the car’s sporty character.
The final outcome was a BMW M4 CS that not only performed better on the track but also offered a more thrilling and responsive driving experience on the road. This Stage 2 tuning project exemplifies our commitment to delivering top-tier performance upgrades, tailored specifically to each vehicle’s unique capabilities.
